In my ongoing work of evolving as a person and unwinding hurt and trauma, I spend a lot of time thinking about nature vs. nurture. Relationships—and how we show up based on our born traits and learned experiences—have been on my mind.

I am an impassioned relationships-oriented person, though that hasn’t always been the case. I am astute at reading people on first meeting (for better or worse). When I develop trusted, caring relationships, I become a friend’s biggest cheerleader, yet also issue compassionate direct sauce if needed. If I see good people being treated unfairly, I get in my injustice feelings about it (#LibraIssues), experience some Hulk rage, and step into the ring to advocate on a person’s behalf.
