I have been in active processing and healing mode the past six weeks. Sometimes I have done this work in my private cave given that my family members have dealt with enough of my suffering and ire and deserve a freaking break. On fewer occasions I have been able to let loose in conversation with certain people. Both scenarios have been helpful, though a recent conversation with a friend made me think, “OK, is it time for me to just let go of this shit?” And related, “How do I do that when I still feel flares of outrage?”
