The generosity in this piece is but a drop of what has come out of your entire body of work, and more than that, your presence and energy. I’ve always believed that the most valuable and radical thing we can do as online writers and creators is to be and show ourselves, not by oversharing , but with a spirit of interconnection. Congratulations on the year with much more to come. 💕
OH BOO. I love you. Thank you for being a continued source of inspiration to me. And for hanging out in my ass cold office while I write (unbeknownst to you!)
Dan, thank you for everything you bring to this space. I’m already assuming our recording time next week will be the bright spot of my week. NO PRESSURE. Lol
Congratulations on your one year anniversary! I always feel connected to your words and experiences. I enjoy seeing and hearing from you on IG and the podcast, but really connect with the deeper conversations that you share here. Reading this today is the push I needed to take a risk and start my own Substack. It’s scary, and maybe my family will be the only people who read it, but it will give me a space to share. Thank you!
Thank you, and I’m so glad you are giving Substack a spin! Definitely check out the office hours. Based on my two data points I thought they were every Tuesday at 1pm but I discovered today I am totally wrong about that. LOL. At any rate, they email to alert folks about the Office Hours so keep an eye out!
Gracious, supportive, helpful, reflective, valuable. Exactly what I look forward to reading from you, and here it is in abundance. Happy anniversary, Christine! Honored to play a small part in your journey.
It occurs to me, in retrospect, Liz that maybe it was too generous of me TO MYSELF to put us in a parallel bucket, but hey, you gotta live! Ha. Thank you for loving and living and writing fiercely.
Thank you for this! I'm glad I followed @Dan Blank's Note message to find this article and your publication.
My website has a specific mission for carers & about-to-be carers. I find myself distracted by 'how to write better' because I'm more comfortable as a researcher, facilitator, marketer, and connector providing/offering ideas rather than crafting stories (It's also difficult to 'story' some of the raw carer experiences).
I'll try to switch off my analytical left brain and lean into the content and ideas I already have. I'll keep building, developing/writing. Hopefully, something resonates, and I can deliver 'value-added pieces' that carers are looking for - what I needed during the worst parts of the rollercoaster!
'The potential for immeasurable impact is beautiful' - is what I'll carry with me for a while
Victoria, thank you so much and YES, keep leaning in and writing. And also, WOW, the timing of your comment … I have dug around into your work a bit and I have an invitation I would like to extend for your consideration. Can you please email me? Thanks!

Congratulation! Your posts are always a bright spot in my week!
Thank you! That is so generous of you to say!
Wow, you have come so far!
And you've made several impactful connections along the way.
I am a newer writer so this post answered many of the subconscious questions I had.
Congrats on 1 year, I can't wait to be able to write one of these posts!
I definitely have to check out one of those Substack Office Hours sessions it seems like a fun little party 😁
